No, this is SavanaDurga.

This is what I found about the place,

Savanadurga is located at a distance of 62 Kms from Bangalore & 10 KM from Magadi town is well known monolith in the Magadi Taluk in Bangalore district is also called Magadi hill. This massive granite, which is second biggest in the State is rising to 4024 feet above sea level, and standing on a base of 14 Kms in circumference. The summit consists of two peaks, separated by a chasm, each being independent of the other.

Forrest_Gump, this is the first time I am seeing your comment. With English like that I am sure I haven't seen it before...

Been there recently. Hey I'll give away another hot spot on the way. T.G.Halli. After you see 'Magadi 22' milestone, you'll see a very narrow tar road on your right (the highway turns left, and this road is straightish), get on the road and then take next left towards a mud road. You'll reach T.G.Halli dam.

Raptor country: Tawny eagle, Krestel, Marsh and Montegu's Harriers. Thousands of migratory ducks.

Don't take your car near the water. Lapwings and Plovers nest on ground, and you can crush their eggs.
